Houle’s Custom Woodcarving was commissioned in the early 90’sand 2005 to carve 400 and 100 hand carved wooden chairs carved out of white oak for the House of Commons in Ottawa Ontario, Canada .The Parliament chairs have been hand carved by Mr. David J Houle master woodcarver of Houle’s Custom Woodcarving for a complete decade he is honored to have been able to have the chance to carve these one of the kind chairs for the Parliament members. The Parliament chairs can be seen on television when the members of parliament are in session.
