Houle's Custom Woodcarving was established in 1995 and is the Parent Company of Fairmont Carved Cremation Urns, David j Houle has been working as a woodcarver for 35 years and has created woodcarvings for clients all over North America and the U.K.  In his early years, he established a line of carved duck decoys and sold them to 100 s collectors and Gift stores. Throughout the 90s he was commissioned to carve the House of Commons chairs for Ottawa Canada a total of 340 Parliament chairs and another 75 chairs in 2005. In 2004 he worked on carved wooden corbels for Osgood Hall in Toronto Canada and later that year carved oak panels for the Cancer Center at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener Ontario Canada. In 1995 David created a full line of carved Hardwood cremation urns for funeral Home establishments across Canada and the USA and has been supplying carved Wooden urns for over 29 years now. Houle's Custom Woodcarving was one of the first companies to Hand carve designs on cremation urns and has sold thousands of cremation urns to date. We have over 50 carved designs to choose from and will be adding more soon. We also have a full line of hand-carved finials for clients in need of finishing their projects with a piece of art.
